We know ourselves what it feels like to want to escape a busy city or town life and that sometimes we just need to slow down a gear and appreciate the peace, tranquillity and fresh air of the countryside - with all the luxuries that you are perhaps accustomed to of course!
We know because that is us - sometimes more days than we wish to think about. and so we decided to set on a journey to find that very special retreat, escape, heaven, call it what you like!
Five years down the line we finally found Greenscombe House - a former Duchy farmhouse on the edge of a popular Tamar Valley village on the border of Devon and Cornwall along a no-through road with incredible countryside views overlooking the River Tamar.
So, no matter how hectic life is, staying at Greenscombe will give you the chance to step back and be thankful for what is important in life.
